There are numerous techniques available to teach dogs. I use a combination of these techniques. Over the years, I have found that there isn't any one technique that will work perfectly for every dog, or every situation. By using a variety of techniques though, I have yet to meet a challenge I am unable to handle.
I believe strongly in positive motivation coupled with positive reinforcement. "Up-play the good and down-play the bad". I do use mild corrections such as a snap of the leash or a squirt with a water bottle, but that is all that is required for over 90% of the situations I run into.
As long as you are willing to listen to and implement the suggestions I give you, practice and above all, have patience, there is no dog that is too much to handle. Training should start in the quiet and comfort of the dogs own environment. For this reason, I only offer private lessons to ensure not only that you and your dog are learning as much as you possibly can , but also so there is no need to ever repeat a class. I don't just show you how to teach your do to sit and stay, I show you how to use the obedience commands to control your dog in any situation.
Prices:
$50 per lesson for private classes (I come to your house)
$40 per lesson for private lessons (You come to me)
$30 per lesson for group lessons (Groups are limited to no more than 5 dogs)

Not all problem situations require a 6 week commitment. There are many times where a one time 2-4 hour consultation is all that is necessary. I require that everyone who is responsible for dealing with and caring for the dog, or dogs, be present for these appointments. Everyone in the family must learn who to properly deal with and then maintain any problematic behaviors. Such behaviors include but are not limited to; aggression, anxiety, fear, biting, digging, and there are many more. Feel free to call for a free telephone interview.
Price: $200.00 flat fee (includes the initial 2-4 hour consultation as well as any further
personal phone calls needed to deal with the discussed behaviors).

Give your furry family members the chance to stay in their own, comfortable, safe homes while you are out of town. Let them avoid the stress as well as danger of staying in a boarding facility. Enjoy your vacation knowing that your most valuable possessions are in the hands of a capable, compassionate professional.
Services include; feeding, watering, medicating, play time, poop patrol, litter box cleaning, bring in the mail and newspaper, put trash cans out if needed, bring in packages and flyers, rotate the house lights to give the house a "lived in" look and water any plants.
We set up a free initial "meet and greet" where we go over what is needed inside and outside of the house prior to your departure. We also do regular dog walks.
Prices:
$15.00 per visit for up to a half hour visit (Puppies extra)
$25.00 per visit for horses (includes mucking stalls and turning out)
Dog Walking
For those individuals who are unable to give their furry, four-legged family members the exercise they need due to hectic schedules, you now have someone you can call. I will gladly come out to your house on a pre-set schedule of your choosing and take your furry friends out to get the exercise and attention they so desperately need and want.
Prices:
$10 - $15 per half hour visit depending on the number of visits per week.
